Big Eagle Bay is a campground and marina on the banks of the Mississippi River in West Alton, Missouri. The campground occupies approximately 45 acres of a 150 acre parcel under contract to Big Eagle LLC. The site is situated on a large natural bay, surrounded by conservation land and directly across the river from Alton, Illinois. Location amenities include:

• Phase III... 34 campsites, boat slips as required

The park will feature a restaurant, bar, convenience store, laundry, swimming pool, boat launch, bike and water-sport rentals, a sandy beach, amphitheater, playgrounds, fishing, WI-FI, sport fields, jumping pillow, horseshoe pits, volleyball, a riverfront gazebo, and multi-purpose trails throughout.

This will be a gated community with 24-hour security, and a manager with staff on duty. The operating standards established by KOA are the most thorough and rigorous in the campground industry. KOA has inspected the site and area and is very impressed with the potential. They have granted a franchise to Big Eagle Bay and have actively participated in planning.

To operate the camp, we have retained a management company, Kampground Enterprises, Inc. They are functioning first as consultants during the development process and will then take over the management of the park as we begin the staffing, supplying and initial marketing of the KOA Kampground.
